This 8-week course introduces and provokes critical thinking and analysis of Jewish identity, history, power, and the complex forces shaping antisemitism today. We will explore how antisemitism operates historically and in current contexts—including its intersections with race, Israel/Palestine, Zionism, and the global far right—and develop skills and strategy for intervention and action.

This class will be recorded and available to enrolled students to watch later.

Cost

This course is available at a sliding scale cost of $359 (the true cost), $299 or $239. If you can afford the full price, we hope you will choose that option, which allows us to continue to offer lower rates and scholarships to those who otherwise would not be able to access this learning because of financial barriers.

Meet Shoshana

Shoshana A Brown, LMSW (they/she) is a Kohenet, healer, educator, and organizer. They are the Director of Pedagogy and Training for the Diaspora Alliance. As an abolition organizer they are a cofounder of the Black Jewish Liberation Collective and a member of Jews for Racial and Economic Justice where they host Beyond The Pale, a radio show on WBAI 99.5FM. Shoshana has expertise in education, somatic healing, union organizing, and Restorative Justice Practices. They are a Black- mixed race Jewish femme who generates liberation and full self-hood in the essence of love.
