Make Your Own Matzah at Home!

It might be difficult to find matzah this year, but there is good news—it’s easy to make matzah at home. And by definition the whole process is supposed to take less than 18 minutes. The whole idea of matzah is that the Hebrews made it quickly as they were escaping Egypt. These videos show you how to do it, including making gluten-free matzah and soft matzah!

Make SOFT Matzah

with Barry Dolinger

Co-founder of Mitzvah Matzos

Mitzvah Matzos is bringing back the original form of matzah, which was soft. (It only became crunchy in the age of mass production so that it could be machine-made and shelf-stable.) Mitzvah Matzos is liberating matzah from capitalism, and all its proceeds are donated to fight human trafficking. And Barry Dolinger is an Orthodox rabbi, so don’t worry that soft matzah can’t be kosher.

The ingredients are simple:

  1. 600 g of flour

  2. 380-390 ml of water

    That’s it!
